Once in a run down, scaly village called Scardle lived two boys called John and Tyler, they lived in the same block opposite each other. John’s house was a small bungalow with two trees either side and a dirty pond, which is believed young lady drowned herself whilst she choked on a large, thick piece of rope. However Tyler had a big house, he was reasonably spoilt and didn’t like to share or socialise with other people, so not many people liked him. The boys parents were good friends, so they usually went out to have some food and a drink, the boys would sleep out at relative’s houses.
There parents were planning on going out that night, but there was no one to look after the boys unless they acquired a baby sitter… they only managed to get one, so they decided that Tyler would go to John’s house whilst the baby sitter watched them both.
The night before though John had seen a mysterious figure come out of the pond, the thing had long, grey hair with a pale face covered in scars, it was horrific. John quickly turned away and hid behind the curtain, as he peaked around the figure had gone he turned around and looked into mirror. He was looking at himself, in the background he saw a face peak up through the window, he span around, the face had gone. For the rest of the night John slept underneath his bed, he was woken by the door, which slung open. He heard the floorboards creaking, also he saw the person’s feet, dirty and ugly. The person left a note on the table, then exited slowly, the door squeaked before being closed completely. John got up and retrieved the note on it, it said ‘BEWARE’. John took a gasp, then he locked his windows and stuck a chair under door handle. He went back to sleep.
‘We’re going boys’
‘Bye’
‘The baby sitter will be here any minute’

The Parents left. A few minutes later the baby sitter arrived, as the babysitter was approaching the door, the shadow looked extremely like the shadow of the figure John saw last night. The babysitter entered the house, she had long, black hair, a pale face with ruggy clothes. She was carrying a large a large case. John asked what was in it, the babysitter said that its nothing interesting. The boys went in the kitchen to do there homework whilst the babysitter watched television. They were whispering things about the baby sitter calling her ‘freaky’. Suddenly the lights started to flicker… the backdoor opened, the boys peaked out the window, the pond was luring her towards it, she was staring into like she had been possessed, a strange fog, like a spirit started to inject into her face. The backdoor do flew open, the babysitter’s her was scruffy, just like she’d only woken up after a rough night. She went back in the living room like nothing had happened but this wasn’t the same soul that was in her body at the beginning of the night, she was a demon. The boys went upstairs into the loft, the loft had been done up so they had a couple of rooms up there. They got into there beds, switched of the lights and kept the door open a bit. The babysitter followed them up a couple minutes later, whilst she came up the stairs she was singing the theme to a nursery theme. They could see in her shadow that she was carrying a huge axe, without hesitating John shown Tyler a hiding place underneath the floorboards, there was just enough room for them both to fit in. They managed to cover the trapdoor with a mat, the babysitter threw the door open, she started searching high and low, left to right. She started throwing her axe at the wardrobes, beds, anything she could get at. She left the room, John got out as he got out he stepped on a squeaky toy, tension broke as the door slowly opened, the babysitter peaked in, John was hiding in a little sack attached to the door. The babysitter didn’t find anything so she went back downstairs. John’s dad used to be in the army he was a high ranked sergeant, he had a special room with all his medals, guns etc. John was forbidden to enter this room, however they went in… John grabbed an MP44,
‘How do you know how to use that thing?’
‘Playstation’
Tyler picked up a small pistol. They went down stairs John looked in… he saw the babysitter lurking around in the living room, she spun around and threw her axe, it missed him by half an inch. John quickly reacted trying to shoot his gun but he couldn’t keep it steady. The babysitter lifted him up against the wall, choking him. Tyler came through the other door, aimed is pistol and shot - the bullet hit her in the head… once, twice, three times, she fell down - dead. The spirit left the body and flew into the fire which burned the evil consumed in it. A couple minutes later, the babysitter woke up but she was normal again, she didn’t know what happened, so the boys said she had just fallen asleep. Tyler and John will never forget what happened that night, but only they will ever know.
