Here's my oppinion:
- General smoking, not ok to expensive and does serious damage to your health.
- Smoking Drugs, This is not often done as much as regular smoking only occasionally when you would be out with friends or just alone expensive but probally safer than casual smoking.
- Smoking Cigars, To this point the only thing i have done and i enjoyed it expensive but again like drugs you would only do it on occasions cigars you would only smoke at like christmas or another even similar to that.

Every drug should be legalized, not just pot. If this is a free country, then why can't I put what I want into my own body? To make a substance illegal is to deny people freedoms - it's saying that you know what's good for somebody better than they do.

Does this mean I think everyone should go out and immediately start smoking meth? Absolutely not; I just think that if you want to you should have the option.

3. The most obvious concern when dealing with drug safety is the possibility of lethal effects. Can the drug cause death?

4. Nearly all medicines have toxic, potentially lethal effects. But marijuana is not such a substance. There is no record in the extensive medical literature describing a proven, documented cannabis-induced fatality.

5. This is a remarkable statement. First, the record on marijuana encompasses 5,000 years of human experience. Second, marijuana is now used daily by enormous numbers of people throughout the world. Estimates suggest that from twenty million to fifty million Americans routinely, albeit illegally, smoke marijuana without the benefit of direct medical supervision. Yet, despite this long history of use and the extraordinarily high numbers of social smokers, there are simply no credible medical reports to suggest that consuming marijuana has caused a single death.

6. By contrast aspirin, a commonly used, over-the-counter medicine, causes hundreds of deaths each year.

7. Drugs used in medicine are routinely given what is called an LD-50. The LD-50 rating indicates at what dosage fifty percent of test animals receiving a drug will die as a result of drug induced toxicity. A number of researchers have attempted to determine marijuana's LD-50 rating in test animals, without success. Simply stated, researchers have been unable to give animals enough marijuana to induce death.

8. At present it is estimated that marijuana's LD-50 is around 1:20,000 or 1:40,000. In layman terms this means that in order to induce death a marijuana smoker would have to consume 20,000 to 40,000 times as much marijuana as is contained in one marijuana cigarette. NIDA-supplied marijuana cigarettes weigh approximately .9 grams. A smoker would theoretically have to consume nearly 1,500 pounds of marijuana within about fifteen minutes to induce a lethal response.

9. In practical terms, marijuana cannot induce a lethal response as a result of drug-related toxicity."

Personally Im all for legalizing marijuana but thats where I draw the line. I lot of people who criticize it have never even tried it to give a unbiased view of it. Of course people are dead set against it because society teaches its wrong and it IS illegal in the eyes of the law. I am the type of guy that wants to try things. Ive tried my share of drugs back in the day and enjoyed every bit of it. I wouldn't change a thing. Just the experience alone is worth it. For those that have not gone that route will never understand others views on it. I still smoke weed to this day and do it as responsibly as I can (don't smoke and drive).

Im all for legalizing marijuana. I smoke weed.. and love it. I think if it was legalized.. it would be WAY cheaper..lol As for other drugs..some of them cause you to hallucinate, get very angry or sad(depending on your feelings prior to taking them) and do stupid things. weed doesnt do that.. it helps you relax and just chill..lol

The only reason they are not legalizing marijuana is because of two reasons. One it stunts your growth and if you smoke like 24/7 your going to act like a 15 year old when you are in your 40's. Secondly they do legalize it would you rather grow it for free, or go to a store and buy it. My chose would be to grow it for free. Now I really do want it legalized because, I enjoy smoking weed, but those are the only reasons stopping the government.
