For those of you that don't know what ONLIVE is, let me explain. OnLive is a gaming-on-demand game platform which was announced at the Game Developers Conference in 2009. The service is a gaming equivalent of cloud computing: the game is synchronized, rendered, and stored on a remote server and delivered online. In English, this means you will be able to save and stream you're games from a server.

Anyway, do you think this 'ONLIVE' will be a hit or a fail. I think it will be a fail, as you need 3.5mbps to stream smoothly from the server. In a study, researchers found out that the average household hasn't got bandwith this high. And the average household is exactly what this 'ONLIVE' is aiming to reach.

It might be a hit, but you're paying for the console, the membership just to play it, then the game. And the reason why I'm complaining about paying for the membership is because if you decide to cancel it, you can't play the games you rented/bought anymore.
