I see all types of people with them: White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, etc

Theres only a few people that can pull off dreads, #1) Black people, #2) Stoners. All others just look retarded. IMO. DONT DO IT MAN, your next look will be bald.

lol. I have a low cut right now. So im used to my hair being short. I had braids when i was younger and now i have waves.. idk i just want to try it. If looks bad i can be bald for 2 weeks..lol

Obviously you don't work or you're younger. This look would not fly in real world business settings. Even if you are the janitor.

lol.. I do work. Im 24 and i work in a law firm as a network administrator. I asked my boss already and he says as long as i keep it professional, which is definitely possible. There are at least 20 people that ive seen with dreads. To be honest, i doubt any job could fire you because of dreads because itst of a religion(not mine..lol). But i believe i can keep them looking presentable and if not.. chop chop...lol But ill try to post picks. I may do a youtube documentary..lol, like a monthly journal

yeah, at my job we deal with clients face to face and they're all older 55-70 years old. those people don't go for that stuff. It's just a sad fact of my job & demo of clients

That's where we differ. The firm that I work at is about 26 floors full of admin assistants and partners and counsel members and regular lawyers. I don't deal with the clients I just deal with them. They all know me and I do have to make the occassional office visit for some users. But never visitors/clients, unless they are in conf rooms in which ill still work remotely. A lot of the partners are old but its a law firm..lol I dare them discriminate and brake the law which they've taken bar tests and oaths to abide by. I do have common sense though..ill know as soon as I get them whether or not I can maintain them. If not I have to make that grown up decision and scalp myself..lmao

lol. you're making a mature decision. I applaud you for that. I like your logic and common sense. You don't see that every day on the boards.
