I used to be able to play Raining Blood on the guitar, but lost interest in that shit. Slayer won't be around in another 20 years, they'll be dead/too shitty and old to play. Slipknot, ditto.
Slayer will go on forever.
Most children don't know about Slayer because they're either too young or stupid, or (in most cases) both, idiots when it comes to music. The same goes for Slipknot. Slipknot started out as a jazz band, they weren't always metal. Plus now the fame got to Corey's head and producers pushed him to start a side project (which is horrible).
Slayer and Slipknot don't even go hand in hand in a comparison. They're music isn't even remotely similar.
Slayer is definitely the superior band here, having way more experience, albums and respect in the music world. They we're at the very start of the speed metal movement. What does Slipknot have? or should I say had.
So Slayer wins. Thread closed.
