When I got a virus on my last laptop the only way I managed to get rid of it was by reseting it to factory settings and if you've lost all your files then you might aswell just do that.

Your best bet would be going to [url]www.housecall.trendmicro.com[/url] and doing the free scan. Windows defender won't do shit, trust me. Malwarebytes is pretty good, but if you have a virus coded by someone who isn't retarded you won't be able to download and execute any antiviruses.

i use super anti spyware, if ever i get a virus, a quick scan and its gone and i believe its free, cause i got one of those thing that slow ure laptop down by using up the ram to an extent when my laptop wouldnt turn on, but my ancle fixed it as he does it for a living.

Every time I get viruses or any other malware I always reinstall my operating system.Then copy all my files to memory stick.

Download this AVG anti-virus program. Its from cnet downloads. I think this can delete viruses.
