i think it is its a very cheap device but the best is the Happuge HDPVR but the easy caP is good alwell

Pros+

-Cheap
-Can get relativity good quality if you play around with it.

Cons-

-Lets face it, its cheap the quality wont be amazing,

Overall i would say go for it, its what £10? worth a try if you can get the maximum quality.
