their both GREAT players...in fact, probably the best #1 and #2 player in the league right now...but in the end, winning championships can't be done without a championship team...Kobe has the better cast...

talent without teamwork = lose

I dislike LeBron. He's all show, no go.

Don't get me wrong, I think LeBron is a great player. That guy though is more for the showmanship than winning. Kobe is clutch. Kobe plays an all-around game.

4 seconds left on the clock...down by 1 or 2 and you need a SURE GAME WINNING SHOT....who do you go to? Kobe Bryant.

And this is coming from a Philadelphian, whom Kobe wanted to "rip the heart out of" during the 2001 Finals because they were playing the Sixers. Personally, I have nothing personal with that...because Kobe is a pure competitor. He has the Philadelphian spirit inside him. He competes and competes and competes, gives it 110% and when the chips are down...he comes through. He leads his team to victory. LeBron doesn't.

ok anyone that says LeBron cant lead his team to the playoffs is obviously a retard. kobe didn't lead the lakers to the playoffs the whole freaking team did and crap like that pisses me off. Kobe has a great team and with that he aquired like 4 rings i think? lol. but the point is LeBron hasn't been able to get on a team capable of winning in the playoffs. yes the lakers are probably a better team, but LeBron is a better player then kobe end of F**KING story.

You could argue that the Lakers have a better all-around team than the Cavaliers, but it's a very slight edge. Kobe makes his teammates better. LeBron makes HIMSELF better.

I'm not a good basketball player, never have been. I know what it takes to win though, and it's shown in the NBA EVERY FRICKING YEAR! One player doesn't win a championship, teams do. Yet you need a leader who MAKES THE TEAM BETTER to do so. Kobe is that type of player. Kevin Garnett is that type of player. LeBron James is not that type of player.

LeBron James simply is the best invididual athlete in the NBA. When it comes to actually playing the game of basketball though, I'll take Kobe ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Why? Because he plays THE RIGHT WAY.

LBJ needs another player who could step up to the plate...either Wade from MIA or Rose from the CHI = Championship!

Oh sorry I am pretty sure Kobe has a support cast....am I right? Yes I am. LeBron has no good supporting cast like Kobes and still puts up better #'s then Kobe. No support what so ever everybody blames there lose on him its not his fault he did what he could with a dismal supporting cast.
