I definitely share this young woman's views when it comes to things like this, but never knew exactly how to describe it until just moments ago when I watched the video.

People my age may not have been on this planet as long as others, but that does not go to imply that we are foolish and do not know what we're doing.

Some day, like the young girl said, we are going to be the people in charge, and the people that make the world into the way we see fit.

Pardon? I understand that in modern society Asians are deemed to be superior in terms of intelligence, but that certainly doesn't have any relevance when it comes to this matter.

There are people in this world that are successful from each and every race and culture worldwide, so there really is no need to generalize any one race as being superior or inferior.

There are plenty of unsuccessful Asians, as there are with any race. Race really has no relevance when it comes to this topic or video, so I'd appreciate if you actually commented on the topic itself.

I'm very impressed by her. It inspires me to go out and do something big in the world. I understand her views the word "Childish" really needs to be redefined if someone were to look at my they would see "Trouble maker" and immediately think "Avoid". I do not portray this image on purpose and actually if you were to get to know me you wouldn't consider me a trouble maker in the least bit, As a child I've been doing my fair share of mischief and such and I feel that it has been branded on me. I walk around in places I've never even traveled to before and people avoid me. Not because they dislike my personality or the way I talk but because of the "Vibe" I give off. I have been accused of stealing three times for no apparent reason. It doesn't bother me in the least bit anymore. People will always be suspicious and people will always accuse others. I support this author in her "quest" if you will, to change the meaning of childish.

It is rather inspiring, isn't it? To be perfectly honest, I cannot say I've been branded with such things, as I've always been a rather subtle person, even as a child. With that, I've always been given a certain level of respect in my family in a more mature manner, rather than being though of as a mere child.

That said, when I am referred to as a child, I am somewhat bothered by it, as I don't like it when adults feel superior, simply because of age, when in all actuality children are just as, if not more important to society as adults.



Despite that, it's an irrelevant comment in the thread. I do apologize for taking the matter so seriously, but I do not appreciate comments like that, as they are somewhat racist, and stereotypical as well.
