If they are lying to you, then what they said "I am lying to you" is true. If " I am lying to you" is the truth, then how can they be lying to you?
If they are not lying to you, it means they are really telling you the truth but covering up the truth by saying "I am lying to you". Telling you the truth makes that statement "I am lying to you" a lie since they are really telling you the truth. How can the truth and a lie be told at the same time?
