Well,i think so...Back in the days,strange people made strange laws and never deleted them from excisting or something..?

Did you know? You can be hung for killing a swan as it is classed as a royal bird, and is therefore treason!

You are partly right except punishment by death is no longer applicable in the UK even for treason it was got rid of in the 90s I believe for civilians and around 2001 for the forces.

These are mostly just old laws dating back many centuries ago and have just been forgotten as they do not apply to modern society.. us brits wouldn't actually follow them today
