They seem to want to add layout for specific people not full remapping (good for me bad for everyone else) . But still pushing the remapping as the best global solution.

Try going on Treyarchs community boards, JD2020 is pretty active there and if you can get some views on one of your threads, button remapping would most likely be in Black Ops.
