hate them both. First, the Yankees go out and try to buy everyone they can but they still lose. I dont understand why there isnt a good salary cap in baseball. And the Lakers are just Kobe's team and i dont like Kobe so cant like them...Yanks are definitely worse than the Lakers though..

I have to go with the Lakers. My reason for this: I am a Boston Red Sox fan. And for this reason, I think we all know that I hate the Yankees. As do most Red Sox fans.

Why do people hate the yankees just because they are able to pay the big names big money. If you had a franchise that had 40-50,000 fans going to see a game and buying yankees merchandise a day and you were making tens of millions of dollars a day why wouldn't you use that money to make your team better? Thats what they did last year and they won the championship and if you look at the major parts of the team a majority of them came up through the yankees farm system(Derek Jeter,Mariano Rivera,Jorge Posada,Andy Pettite,Robinson Cano,Joba Chamberlain,Brett Gardner,Phil Hughes,Francisco Cervelli)which shows you that the Yankees don't just go throwing money around at people, but they also use their great minor leagues to get some of the best players in the game.

Hmmm.....wait a minute my franchise does have 40k people attending a game. That is funny and they are not hated like the Gay Yankees. I am a twins fan they are old fashioned they build teams through the minor leagues not the market. Basically the Yankees have 3 players that they pay a year thats salary is higher then that of other teams whole team. You are a fool if you like the Yankees. They didn't win those championships they bought them.
