Hands down the Yankees! They have so many more titles than the Lakers do and are a lot more valued in the sports community as a whole.

i agree, Lakers are great overall team and happy to see them win. for some reason i dont like Kobe as a person tho. hes one of the best players present but never liked him.

That answer is obviously the Yankees. However, I'd like to bring up my opinion on the favored team. I'll be using the Yankees for my point, but I think this goes with any team that wins a lot of championships in their respective sort. If you ask me I'd say the Yankees have the biggest fan base spread out through out the United States, however, I wouldn't say because of this they have the best fans of any team in sports. People tend to not like losers so they tend to say "Oh, my favorite team is the Yankees." and buy shirts and hats and all that stuff to show support for 'their team'. But I wonder how many of these 'Yankee fans' can actually name some outside of the core players (Joba, Rivera, A-Rod, Tex, Posada, and Jeters). I'd have to think it'd be in the upwards 40% wouldn't be able too. My point being is you're going to have more die hard fans on the lesser teams then the ones with the many championships, and those after all are the ones that count.

why limit the money u have to spend on a team? i think its stupid to root for a team that usually wins too. im in the ny area so why not root for them? then u have the mets....

i still like the knicks even though they suck.

Well, I like the Orlando Magic so I don't have much love for the Lakers. I was always a fan of the Yankees, so my vote goes to Yankees
