Just watched a film called 'Crash', which was centered around racism in the States. I assume it isn't that bad in reality, but is it bad over there? With it being so large I always imagined that there were such diverse communities, although I have heard of the views of those in the South.
So, where is racism most prominent? Europe or the US?
From what I understand South Africa is pretty bad. Whites in certain parts of South Africa without getting shot at. However, the Whites are equally as racist towards the blacks. So all parties get exactly what they deserve.
I am always surprised at how racist people in the UK are. For example, I was in a little town in the middle of nowhere where my mate is from. He was showing me round and pointed out the only black guys house as if it was sort of land mark
The US, definitely the US. It's not just white racism either. Colored only colleges/funds/scholarships? WTF?
who says colored?..lol jp
lol.. theres no such thing as a colored only school. Those are "historically black colleges" and any race can go to them. Maybe with a title like that it may sway other races away..but don't act like African Americans haven't been oppressed for decades..at one point those were the only schools blacks could go to... but segregation is over. As for funds/grants/scholarships... the only reason why African Americans are singled out in terms of certain funds are because most African Americans dont win certain scholarships.. scholarships that they are much more qualified than their white counter parts that win it because of daddy's contributions.. The NAACP and organizations like that help African Americans, just like certain clubs help White Americans.

FYI.. its just as bad as what you saw on that movie.. people like the character played by Sandra Bullock exist. And people like the characters played by Ludacris and Lorenz Tate also exist.
Sorry for triple posting.. but they just added a new law in Arizona that allows cops to stop anyone who they THINK could be an immigrant..lmao what kind of shit is that.
