Introduction:

The purpose of this thread is to keep track of both achievements of the site as a whole, and to give individual members here at NextGenUpdate a place to share their own achievements, whether they be site related, such as post count achievements, reputation achievements, etc., or non-site related, being something like getting married, having a child, buying a new car, and so on.

All major achievements for the site as a whole will be recorded into the original post. All other achievements will simply be viewable through the post itself.

The Rules:

Like with all threads of this sort, there need to be a few ground rules to ensure that this thread meets its purpose, and does not veer off to any unrelated topics at any time.

1.) Asking for reputation in this thread is prohibited. This is mainly because many members do not like it when members ask for reputation, and therefore it could lead to a comment, of which could lead to an argument of a sort.

2.) Do not criticize, or downsize the achievements of anyone. While someone may post an achievement that seems like nothing to you, that does not give you the right to openly express that, as that is simply rude.

3.) When posting an achievement concerning reputation or post counts, do not encourage people to help you achieve future goals. This would be classified as boosting, which is clearly against the NextGenUpdate Rules & Regulations.

4.) Stay on topic at all times. If you are not commenting (positively) on someone's achievement, or posting an achievement of your own, there is no reason for you to be posting in this thread.

5.) Follow all NextGenUpdate rules.

When posting an achievement in this thread, please try not to simply post your achievement, but elaborate on it! I understand that some achievements cannot be elaborated on, but if you can, please do so! When reading about something that someone has achieved, it is much more interesting if I know what makes that achievement significant, and what the person had to do to achieve it. Of course this is not required, but it is strongly recommended to ensure that this thread is of high quality.

2,800 posts was reached for me today, as well as this being my anniversary month.

3 years on NGU.

Half of it good, half of it bad. I know I burnt a lot of bridges, and went inactive on bad terms, but not having found a place like this, I feel it's time to make a come back, right the wrongs I have done, and try to make amends to everyone. Won't be easy, but I'm up for the challenge. Some of the best times I've had on the Internet were because of here, and I do miss the good old times I've had on here. I want to help contribute to NextGenSource, and help keep the community flowing here.

I know people don't think that people change, but in reality that is a false statement. People do change. Some for better, some for worse. I've tried the worse, and I aint fond of it. Time to return to the better. Being in the negative light of NGU isn't fun. Guys, learn from my mistakes. Don't make the ones I made. They will only get you loads of negativity from here, and believe me, it's a bunch.

I know apologies are in order all around, but this thread is nor the time or place for them.

All around, my time here thus far has been truly remarkable, and I hope to continue my existence on here being a positive member of the community for years to come. That still, I'm still pro Xbox, and would love to play with NGU members. Sorry PS3 guys, just doesn't appeal to me, still got love for y'all though.

TL-DR ~ Did some bad things, time to make up for them, and make a comeback. 2,800 posts, 3 years of NGU, and still, love it here.
