Wednesday May 5th:
Farmer Brown came to town with some watermelons. Many people asked about the party, however he was not there for that business. He sold half of them plus half a melon, and found that he had one whole melon left. How many melons did he take to town? COMPLETE Answer was 3 melons

Friday May 7th: You walk on to an island, where you meet three people these people are called Truth, False and Random. Truth always speaks the Truth, False always lies, Random can tell either the truth or a lie but it's totally random. You pick up a scroll it says your task is to figure out which person is which by asking 3 yes-no questions BUT they understand English, but cannot speak it their words for yes and no are 'da' and 'ja', but you don't know which is which. Tuesday May 11th: Three friends check into a motel for the night and the clerk tells them the bill is $30. So, they each pay the clerk $10 and go to their room. A few minutes later, the clerk realizes he has made an error and over charge the trio by $5. He asks the bellhop to return $5 to the friends who had just checked in The bellhop sees this as an opportunity to make $2 as he reasons that the three friends would have a tough time dividing $5 evenly among them: so he decides to tell them that the clerk made a mistake of only $3, giving a dollar back to each of the friends. He pockets the leftover $2 and goes home for the day! Now, each of the three gets a dollar back, thus they each paid $9 for the room which is a total of $27 for the night. We know the bellhop pocketed $2 and adding that to the $27, you get $29, not $30 which was originally spent. Where did the other dollar go????? The first person to answer CORRECTLY gets rep.

Ask each islander if ja means yes multiple times. Find the one that changes his answer and that is random.

Next ask the remaining islanders if da means yes?

Islander 1 says da
Islander 2 says ja

Next ask if they know how to say the word da?

If Islander 1 says ja, he is "False" since he just said da meant yes
If Islander 2 says ja he is "Truth" since he said ja meant yes

If Islander 1 says da he is "truth" since he said da means yes and said the word da
If Islander 2 says da he is "False" since he said ja means yes, so he is lying

If that doesn't work, after figuring out who random is ask the remaining islanders "what does da mean?"

Truth will say da, False will say ja

^^ But Random is random, he could say yes 10 times in a row.

Truth would say YES if you asked him false would say NO if you asked him and other guy would be random!

I know how to come about answering this, but for the life of me I can't figure out a way to word it.

That is statistically improbable considering it is a 50/50 shot each time. For Random to say the same thing 10 times in a row would be ridiculous. I'll play your games tho Riddler :p

1.Ask what da means

Truth will say da
False will say ja
Random will say something

2.Ask whoever has a unique answer what the meaning of their word is

For example:
If 2 islanders said ja, ask the islander who said da if da means yes (This would be truth answering)

If 2 islanders said da ask the islander who said ja if ja means yes (This would be false answering, so don't believe him :p)

This will give you the meaning of the words da and ja

You now either know who false is or who truth is depending on how random answered the first question. You also know the meaning of ja and da.

3.If you know the identity of truth point at 1 of the other islanders and ask "Truth" if who you are pointing at is "Random"?

He will say either yes or no. Giving you the identities of random and false

If you know the identity of false point at 1 of the other islanders and ask "False" if who you are pointing at is random.

He will lie but either way gives you the identities of Truth and Random
