I know that making everyone get health care has been deemed unconstitutional, but think about it you have a lot of people who get sick or hurt, go to the local hospital emergency room to get care and have zero coverage. And guess who has to pay for it? You and me, the taxpayer
I believe that Health care isn't their first priority, but reform was needed to help bring down the deficit over time. I think jobs and immigration reform should be at the top of the list but that's just me.
I know the dems have the presidency, had control of the house and now the gop have control of the house but the dems still control the senate... I don't really care about that all i care about are the hard working people out here struggling, wondering if they'll have a job tomorrow.
The debate on this was whether or not you thought Obama was a good President. Also who do you think pays for Obamacare? Okay take this then.
First off Obamacare has caused normal healthcare to increase. Also it made not having health insurance illegal (by the way thats the unconstitutional part.)
If you make $66,000 you pay $8,000 of it to pay for Obamacare or 12 percent not including the rest of the taxes you already pay. $44,000 then its $3,000 or 7 percent of income. $33,000 then $1500 or 5 percent of your income. If you make $22,000 then you pay $440 or 2 percent of your income.
Now tell me does that sounds like a good deal. Obama also pumped out a $3,270,000,000,000 stimulus. Then says employment didn't fall as bad as expected. Give me a break. We have on count, legally, about 309 million people. That means he could've given each person $10,580 in cash. Congratulations Obama you just equaled the Iraq war debt in one stimulus.
Also this might mean something on its own

Obama's approval rating is horrible. Then again he forced down a unconstitutional bill, added unbelievable debt, and has flamed Republicans, but hey its good to know you can enjoy yourself in vacation. By the way the reform is adding to more cost than helping the deficit. Now what you didn't mention is the fact he's already stated when we are leaving Iraq and Afghanistan. Iraq = 2011, and Afghanistan = 2014. Also before you go clapping we are essentially picking up our things and leaving nothing more.
Now as anyone can guess I lean more right wing and for business, but that is another discussion in itself. Now if anyone can state some good things he has done for America and not just "I think he's doing a good job" that would be awesome.
Fun Fact : US debt is at $14 trillion and Obama has spent around 5 trillion easily, more likely much more that is undisclosed. Anyone want to do the math on what percent of debt that is.
Edit: Sorry just a side note this isn't just Obama, but unemployment has been extended to 99 weeks. Which is necessary because there is no possible way you could find a job in 1 year, you need 2 years.
