I meant with the majority he had in Senate, before imposing quickly upon the Health Care Reform [which made quite a few Democrats lose re-election], he could've done other crap that would've slid through Congress more easily because of the majority he had then.

.. Now he's screwed.

Why it's so bad to get public health care system to States? I know that it costs a lot in the beginning, but it's better to have one good system, rather than two separate systems where poor people can't get any care, right?

I feel as if I shouldn't be obliged to pay for something that I choose not to.

It's like charging people to live. You can't get your way out of it.

Yeah, but we've a health care system where state pays it (with taxes) and our system is worst in the world, right? /sarcasm

It's just my opinion, but public health care system where state pays it with taxes (mostly) is best, because it's egalitarian to poor people.

I don't feel as if we should support those who are incapable of supporting themselves.

If I were to have a job that I worked hard for [grades, schoolwork, internship, etc.] - Why should part of my money pay for people who sometimes choose to do nothing about it?

So it's fair to let them in streets to die or join criminal gangs?
Not all of them are immigrants, some people are unemployed and can't get job, even when they really try to get it.
I'm happy that we support those people, even when some people aren't doing anything to get a job, because it's a fact (atleast here) that mostly they try to find job or are studying.

We also have pretty high taxes, but we're doing much better than you (in public health care and public transport etc..).

With your kind of "I don't give a **** about them" attitude, they will just join gangs and increase criminality, because they don't have money they have to steal or become drug dealers etc, is that better option? You should think that too.

So, which one is worse, supporting those people and you've to pay a little bit more or let them to join gangs and increase criminality? I would say the first one, but the choice is yours.

I am tired of Obama STILL blaming Bush, it is getting a little old and he needs to step up and take some responsibility. I highly doubt he will get reelected.

Obamacare is too costly and inefficient. The Bill also made it illegal to not have health insurance. That goes against our freedoms. Obamacare will be replaced at one point.
