Post: AFC and NFC team to beat in 2010??

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I think the team to beat the this upcoming 2010 season will be the New York Jets. All their off-season moves have put a huge spark to that team. They were very close to going to the SB last year but i think with all the players they got on that team now they are the team to beat and can go to the SB in the AFC. The NFC is a tuffy. I might have to go with the Saints again but im not sure. They might go through a SB hangover or something. Only if Favre returns if i will choose the Vikings though. Cowboys are a great team but they won't make it to a SB with Tony Romo, he is a choke artist. Well now that i thought it through, i think the team to beat in the NFC and has a great chance to go to the SB would be the New Orlean Saints. I can't wait for this season to start, i bought a DeSean Jackson jersey and a Kevin Kolb jersey for 2 of our home games im going to this year. I think the Eagles will do fine with Kolb. Good Luck to everyones team this year!

Rep me please! :p

Im an eagle fan.. and even though my team got shreded this year.. i have to stay faithful. Eagles all the way.. Kevin Kolb is going to prove millions wrong.

The Jets look GREAT on paper.. they made all of the right moves, but they have too many stars right now and way to many ego's.. i see another episode of t.o. when he was in philly happening there.

I agree that Kevin Kolb will shock a lot of doubters. He's walking into an ideal situation right now. Great receivers, great TE, solid RB depth, a great fullback who can catch a pass, and a really good offensive line.

Defense needs to step it up though. I think their first round draft pick becomes a starter by week 1.

Still, the team to beat is the Saints. The killed the NFC last year and outscored the offensive juggernaut Colts in the Super Bowl.

In the AFC, I think the Jets will be something else this year. That being said, the AFC has a lot of top quality teams still where it's hard to determine who is the top team to beat. Hard to argue against the Colts since they went last year. You could make an arguement though still for the Patriots and the Chargers. And don't be surprised if the AFC East sends 3 teams to the playoffs. The Dolphins have rebuilt very quickly with Parcells running things.

One thing is for sure, the AFC is weakening, and the NFC is getting stronger. Saints, Vikings, Cowboys, Eagles, Packers, and the Giants are all very dangerous teams. Maybe this is the year where it gets turned around and the NFC begins to show it's dominance again. Considering how long the cycles of dominance last for a conference, it's about the time where it *should* be turning when you look at the past 40 years.

The Vikings are a wild card, depending on Favre. If he plays they are 13 win team and a top seed in the NFC, if he doesn't they immediately become a wild card team.

+Rep though because that post was amazing.

Everyone says the Saints are going to do good again. I think the Madden curse will get them.
Nah as long as Brees is around that offense will be solid but the Defense has always had problems. The Defense won them the super bowl but Sharper is old. They had injury problems at CB. They also lost Fujita who was a strong part of the Defense.

I'm a BIG Eagles fan and I trust Kolb. I'm just worried about the running backs, they did sign Mike Bell but they didnt seem to trust McCoy last year. They have a great backfield with Weaver but Reid just needs to trust them.

NFC Pick: Vikings (if favre comes back), Packers or Cowboys (if favre doesnt come back)

AFC Pick: Colts

McCoy had a lot to pick up last year. If he learns how to hold that ball he has a nice season ahead of him, of course, if Reid decides to run the ball. Good news is during these mini camps all signs are that McCoy is making great strides and is primed for a very nice season.Happy

only two things. The Broncos aren't going to run full into Tebow starting. and even with ben last year the Steelers were not what they were. They lost there best WR. Ward is getting older and now Ben is gone. It is not good for them

if ur a steelers fan u would kno it wasnt offense problems last year...it was about 90% defense
polamalu is a HUGE HUGE part of their defense and always has been, but he was hurt last season that was a huge reason for the bad season and alot of true steeler fans would agree with that

Hi, I don't like you
Yeah, without Troy roaming centerfield for the Steelers their defense lacked the ability to create turnovers and that caused their defense to struggle mightily.
