Why should they be treated differently than straight people? Because they love a different group of people? It's not about the economic benefits, it's about the LABEL, about equal rights.

The "marry animals or inanimate objects" argument is retarded. We're talking about people loving people. You want to restrict their freedoms because they are of the same gender? Why? What logical sense does that make?

If you love someone, no matter if it is the same sex, you should be able to marry.

In the Pledge of Allegiance, it says "Liberty and justice for all", however gay and lesbians are not treated as "equal".

A species is only successful when it can survive and reproduce. If enough offspring can't or don't reproduce the species will eventually become extinct.

Although I highly doubt that the gay/lesbian community will ever become big enough to cause human extinction, biologically it's not that good.

Than again it kinda helps overpopulation on a very small scale.

I don't really care about people being gay or lesbian but I think it's bad. What I really hate is when a guy acts like a girl and a girl acts like a guy. If you're a guy then act like one, and if you wanna be gay then watever and same for girls..
