An unnamed Call of Duty game is under development by Activision studio Sledgehammer Games; the release date of this game is supposedly around early 2011. Activision Blizzard COO Thomas Tippl mentioned that "it’s going to be an innovative take that will further broaden the audience for Call of Duty" The game will reportedly "extend the franchise into the action-adventure genre". No other details were made available by Activision.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was confirmed to be in pre-production when Activision filed a countersuit against former Infinity Ward employees on April 9, 2010. Other information about the game is unknown. On April 27, 2010 the game was also mentioned in a suit against Activision for forcing Infinity Ward to complete the game and for unpaid royalties. It is unknown if the game will be produced at this point because of the legal issues surrounding Infinity Ward.

Well based that Activision just purchased a variety of domains including spacewarfare.com and futurewarfare.com, I'm guessing sledgehammers game will be more fictional.

Activision is shitting out CoD games like diarrhea.

Sledgehammer Games is rumored to be making the Call of Duty MMO which will make you pay a monthly fee to play, it's bullshit pretty much.
