Doc Rivers was right though, it would've been a completely different game with Perkins, and the starting lineup still hasn't had a chance to defend their title, they keep getting screwed with people getting hurt.

Haha this post made me a laugh a LOT. Kobe is the best player in the game, but he will not touch MJ.
MJ did so many things that were revolutionary for the game, that Kobe has not.
MJ has 6 championships with 6 MVP's. Kobe has 5 and 3.
MJ's stats were so much better than Kobe's.
So just because Kobe is the best player in the game right now, it doesn't mean that he will come near the greatest player ever.
