In a scheduled 12-round fight from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night, Oscar De La Hoya hopes for frequent exchanges against a fighter who has little regard for his chin.

Manny Pacquiao has been successful with that strategy, but he is moving up two weight classes. He weighed 142 pounds at Friday’s weigh-in, well below the welterweight limit of 147; De La Hoya was at 145.
