After several rumours, Ubisoft has confirmed the 3rd Assassin's Creed game to be entitled Brotherhood. A website was recently registered under AssassinsCreedBrotherhood.com, and the image above was found today.

The biggest news is probably the return of Ezio, and not a new assassin, but unless you have amazing eye sight, here is the blurb on the back of the game cover, in the image above:


"Live and breathe as Ezio, now a legendary master assassin, in his struggle against the Templar order. Lead your own brotherhood of Assassins and strike at the heart of the enemy. Rome.

"And for the first time, take part in an innovative multiplayer layer allowing you to embody an assassin of your choosing and define their killing style.

"Lead your own brotherhood of assassins, as Ezio, and conquer Rome."

When Ubisoft were asked if this was indeed real, a representative responded with "Ubisoft confirms the authenticity of this image and will provide more information next week." Personally I think this is great news, as AC2 was one of the best games I've played in a long time, so I'm really looking forward to this. More information to come soon.
