(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Mike Foltynewicz (Folty) was drafted to the Houston Astros for the 19th overall pick. he is the first person from illinois to be drafted straight from high since some kid back in 2001 to the white sox. i was in one of his classes and was talking to him about it. he said if he went 1st or second round, he would get $2 million guaranteed. he would have at least 25 scouts at each of his games. they clocked each of his pitches at 96 mph consistent for the entire game

That is awesome. Some friends I graduated with are playing at Marshall, Notre Dame and Navy. We are all seniors this year. But nothing like that..

I went to the same high school as Shaun Alexander tho. That was pretty cool.
