My guess is the chicken came first, because if there was just a lone egg with not parent looking after it, it would have been a hell of a time getting it to hatch before it was eaten/broken.

Zebra - they are all pink on the inside....

number one is egg.

Evolution, natural selection whatever. The egg has to come first. An Animal slowly evolves or something but for it to be born it has to come from that egg.
Now your going to say something daft like "Yeah but what produces that egg"
An animal very similar to a chicken but not quite there yet. It's offspring is the chicken.

Problem solved?

The 1st question. God made all the animals on the 2nd or 3rd day of earth's creation and he made hens 1st to lay the eggs to make more. Confusing? Read the Bible.

Number 1 is is neither. It can't be the egg, since it wasn't fertilized with a rooster, since a rooster and chicken aren't same same thing. Chicken is girl, rooster is boy. Now if the chicken came first, yes it could lay eggs, but the eggs wouldn't be fertilized, so no baby chick, then the chicken would grow old and die. No more chickens. It couldn't be rooster came first either, since roosters didnt lay eggs. The only possible solutions are:
1. The chicken and rooster came at the same time
2. Chicken and fertilized egg that hatched a rooster
3. Rooster and feritilzed egg that hatched a chicken

Nice answer. My guess is that the Chicken came first as God created every living thing, so a chicken would be in that criteria.
