i read some where that this video was release but with the wrong title. Mortal Kombat is releasing a new game soon and this was suppose to be the viral video for it.

if they actually take this idea and make the movie i would be very happy and theres already a new mortal kombat game coming out so its perfect

the producer just made the video to pitch it to a company and all the actors did the trailer as a fovor for their friend so lets hope someone takes the idea and makes one kick ass movie and this has nothing to do with the game thats been announced

THIS IS ACTUALLY NOT THE MOVIE FOR mORTAL kOMBAT. it was made by a group of Mortal Kombat fans, including the actors like Michael Jae White that appear, as a pitch to I think Warner Brothers (or whoever is responsible for Mortal Kombat) to let them know that the franchise still has a huge following. And according to rumors they are now going forward with the story project but I do not think that what we saw in this trailer will be in the movie but the whole concept will be included I am sure.

I cannot wait. I grew up on this game!!!!!

I haven't heard anything about this, but just looked it up and it looks legit! There actually is an announced movie for 2013... Haha I guess we'll see what the MK series comes to... Hopefully M. Night Shyamalan has NOTHING to do with this movie.
