So i've been looking and it's from some gamer dorks have "IM" typos. It originally started from "owned" then a common typo was p0wned, or pwned. The 1st guy was playing halo, im sure you've heard if it before, very populat game. Then cod, r2 ect. Well now is VERY popular.

ya, lol. knew that for a while . heard it for the first time ever a few years ago playing halo 2 at my friend's house.

Pretty much guessed it, owned-pwned, doesn't take much thinking to guess that it was a typo.
