(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last night 4-3. They were a great team and proved to be the better team over my Flyers. Congrats to all the Blackhawk players and fans!! A well played series. I wish it would of went to a game 7 though.

The Flyers scard me for a little bit. They did pretty well, but the Hawks were the better team in my oppinion.

Yeah i know. We played well during them 2 home games when we tied the series but after that horrible loss 7-4 i think it was i didn't have a lot of faith in them and i kinda knew we would lose

What I feel was the Hawks reason for winning was Coaching.
Joel Quenville, After he saw his 1st line had only recorded 1 point in 3 games, between the 3, broke up the line, Putting Towes with Hossa, which turned out well, Byfulgeon on the 3rd line, and kept Kane with Sharp on the 1st. Look who scored the tying goal, and the game winner, Sharp and Kane.
Peter Laviolette I feel didn't change enough after both of the embarrising losses, keeping Carter and Richards together the whole series, 1 goal from both is pathetic from such elite players as them. And Goaltending.... If Laviolette actually thought he could win with Leighton after the 1st away loss, why did he continue to play him.. I know Flyers fans who even thought Leighton shouldnt have started after game 1.

The teams were very even, it all came down to matchups and coaching.

Nailed it. The biggest reason the 'hawks had the parade was Quenneville changing the lines. I got a lot of respect for Peter Laviolette, but he should have broke up the top line. It was good series to watch; wish it would have went 7. Congratulations to the Blackhawks and their fans on a Cup well earned.
