It's simple: do you think that teenage relationships are capable of lasting?

By the way, in your post, include whether or not you're in a relationship as a teenager right now. I'm nearly positive that if you're in a long-standing relationship, you'll be optimistic. However, those who have been stung by unrequited love might not be so hopeful.

Thoughts?

Uhm, they can last but usually don't. If you like the girl (in my case) for reasons besides them being 'hot' then of course it has the possibility to last. Life isn't like the movies; shit doesn't work out perfectly. With that said, I believe two young people can love each other everything aside. A strong lasting relationship can come from teenage relationships.

depends on the era, like in the old days people pretty much always got married before they where 20 and most likely are still together, look at your gran parents for example

then your moms era, probbaly about 40% stay together and now u got what around 10% maximum in our era, people dont limit ther self to 1 person now its every hole is a goal attitude

Like I tell my friends, you're busy getting one girl rather than getting a bunch of them.

Ive been EVERYWHERE in the relationship world. Some good some bad. Yeah Ive broken hearts before and yeah Ive had my heart broken. I haven't broken up with a girl since like..8th grade. (I'm a senior now) I know my life is just really getting started but im very grateful of all of my past relationships(good or bad). They have helped me learn from my mistakes and now because of them, I'm in one of the best relationships in my life, but teen relationships are no more than basic learning experiences for later on in life. Teenage love IS love, and love does exist. Teenage love is just...different.

I have been in a relationship for 3 years and I'm only 17 so yea I think teenagers can have long lasting relationship if they are true to each other
