I live in Massachusetts and am around 20 minutes or so away from Boston so I was rooting for the celtics and all :mad:

The reffs seemed near blind except towards fouls going against the Celts
Am I the only one that felt like the Lakers payed off the reffs?

First time I heard someone complain about the officiating of the game. I haven't watched much ESPN lately, but I'm sure if there was a legit reason to complain ESPN would have taken it and ran with it. So, it seems like something minor where as since you were rooting for Boston and they lost; you don't like the calls. If you were rooting for the Lakers, you'd be fine with the calls. Its a 3 way street, those who liked the calls (Lakers), those who didn't (Celtics), and those who don't really care.



Get use to it, it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Every now and then there are some blown calls that can change the outcome of the game in which fans can have a problem. Most fans just have a terrible time admitting their team got outplayed so they piss and moan about how the refs got paid off. Annoying, yes.

There was this one up and down that completely blew the game that went uncalled...
that made me the most aggravated because they played it a few times in an instant replay :mad:
