What you need:

A cheap disposable camera

Two wires ( or picture metal )

Super glue

A plastic casing

What to do:

Take off the outter paper casing of the disposable camera.

Then take off the black plastic covering until you're left with a circuit board.

You should see a capacitor with two metal wires coming out of it DON'T TOUCH THIS - you need to discharge it by touching it with a screwdriver (touch both wires with it, a spark should be given off).

Put the circuit board in the plastic casing and secure it tightly.

You should see a bronze coloured piece of metal which completes a circuit once pressed down.

Take this off and stick it to the top of the plastic casing - so when it presses down it still completes the circuit (you can make a hole to make it easier to press down on).

Make two small slits in the plastic casing and attach your two wires to each capacitor wire.

Put the resulting wires through each hole.

When you press down the piece of bronze metal it completes the circuit and an electrical charge is stored in the capacitor, now when you touch the two metal wires together it releases the charge.
