Microsoft replys to this by saying this:

Various reports have suggested that the new Xbox 360, unveiled at E3 and released in the US last week, is prone to overheating, resulting in an error screen.

“We couldn't be more proud of the consoles we are building now”
When asked about this specific issue, in an email to NowGamer, the console manufacturer said: "We couldn't be more proud of the consoles we are building now, as well as the new Xbox 360. This console is the culmination of years of continuous innovation in design, testing and learning. Today we are confident we are shipping a high quality product."

The new Xbox 360 is due to hit Europe on July 16.

Pretty ironic ehh?

Old news. Everything has problems. Especially when it's new... etc, etc. I don't feel like ranting about this, to be honest.

The only thing Microsoft fails at is acknowledging the fact that they have made a mistake, and should try to fix it.

I'd go into a whole thing about how every different console has it's own flaws, singling one out makes you look like and ungrateful prick, etc, etc.

But you didn't say "OMG, S0NY N3V3R has dis problim, Xb0x sux!", so I know your intentions were pure.

Anyways, hopefully they get this fixed instead of denying it.

EDIT: Oh wait... never mind. You have a PS3. So you ARE trying to smother the name of Microsoft... tsk tsk. /respect gone :'(
