From this day forth Fedor is no longer the mysterious fighter he once was. He has just felt his first "true" loss in the mma world.

First off, I am a big fan of Fedor and I hate seeing this in front of me but none the less its happened.

As for the fight itself I am kinda beside myself. From first glance Fedor looked to have gain extra baggage and did not look impressive at all. Granted he has never been the rocked up muscle type but he looked out of shape. He also seemed to have lost that stone cold stare in his eyes.

To add insult to injury this has also happened recently to Mr. Emelianenko...

Id be willing to beat Dana White is laughing his ass off this very moment at the outcome of tonight.

I will state that by no means do I doubt Fedor will take this in stride. He will bounce back (not literately) from this.

Million Miles Of Fun!
I wasn't a huge fan even though I am partly Russian, but it is in a sense a disappointment to see him loose because with a record like that you just don't want him too. I think he got more cocky then confident as he got too far in which landed him into the triangle. (Which I must admit was well performed)

But getting in an arm triangle is not an easy feat to get out of even with leverage. Sad though all them armchair generals have to argue about fedor now.

P.S. he wasn't really "out of shape" it was more cockiness and technical then conditioning wise. Also thats how his body has ALWAYS been hes never really been your typical "buff" big guy. He is strong though and hes not one to lift weights like carwin/leasner or other HW's, he sticks to bodyweight/strongman stuff which makes you strong just you don't look it as much. And as for his weight I think he was actually lighter than what he normally fights at, if not only like 2-3 lbs heavier.

The man is human remember

The best of us lose fights from time to time. I remember I use to get into fight all the time when I was younger. I lost my first fight my Sophmore year in college. I went after the biggest guy in the group to try to prove something and got my ass kicked in the process for the first time lol. So no matter how big, strong, tough, or intimidating you are everyone will lose a fight eventually. And MMA is WAY different than boxing or street fighting because one wrong move can land you in a submission as Fedor showed us. And in his case it was either have this guy rip my arm off or take a L, taking the L was def. the right choice.

Does anyone know how many fights he had before he lost?
