technonlogy has improved the % of reaction, hiroshima was 30 KT if i rember correctly but only between 4-6% of that went boom


so its not how much KT u put in the bomb its how well you can get it to react


the question is do u go with 1% of 100KT or 100% of 1KT, its cheaper at the moment to go with 100KT, but in future that number will slowly go down as physics get more advanced

Dang they're making a tiny nuke? That's kinda weird. Wouldn't it just be more practical to use conventional explosives?

I don't think you understand the image those tiny nukes were the ones that were dropped on Japan during WW2. The massive Soviet one in the one they've got now. If they dropped the "big" one on Japan now it would more than likely wipe the country off the map for good.
