You must not have watched the finals then. I will give it to them when they beat Orlando (eventhough Orlando should not have been there the Celtics didn't have Garnett and the Cavs just got unlucky too many close games killed their moral).

BUT this years finals were PATHETIC!!! If Ron Artest did not step up in game 7 then the Lakers would have lost. Kobe did not win them the finals @ all. Do you think Jordan would EVER perform like that in a game 7? NOPE because Jordan NEVER had to go to a game 7 lol. Also if Ray Allen made 3 more shot the Celtics would have won... he did not show up to the finals after he set the 3 point record. ALSO if the Celtic had Kendrick Perkins then they would have won!!

But this does not change the fact that the Lakers did win the finals 2 years in a row. BUT the 3 peat WILL NOT happen if the superpowers (Lebron, Wade, and Bosh) end up on the same team. If not then I see the Lakers and Celtics AGAIN in the finals, how about we let some other franchises get a chamiponship quite hogging them all lol.

If you are a true Lakers fan then you can admit that the Lakers DID NOT deserve to win that game. In fact the Lakers did not win the championship Boston lost it. Kendrick Perkins may not be an offensive threat but he sure is a defensive one! If he was healthy and able to play then the Celtics would have won the championship hands down.
