This. Recently Steam was released on the Mac, allowing many new games to be played on Mac OSX instead of Windows. However, games played on the same computer on OSX run much slower than the same games on Windows. It's all because Apple completely dominates the Mac platform, including the video drivers, which evidently were inferior to the Windows versions.
Apple keeps everything so controlled that you can't customize their hardware or software much (assuming you follow their rules). I hate not being in control of my products, and I especially hate corporations telling me how I should use their products. Thus, I strongly dislike Apple.
