Oh, right you mean when Iverson quit on the team, skipped out on Fan Appreciation Night with Chris Webber. McNabb was never appreciated by Philadelphia. I thought it when he was on the team and will continue to think it now, McNabb is one the most overrated QBs in the NFL. He isn't an accurate passer, lacks knowledge of the game itself, and lets himself get to absorbed by what people think of him. Westbrook is a different story, the guy has nothing left in the tank, he can't stay healthy, and would be just wasting cap room on the team so they got rid of him. Notice how he isn't on a team yet?
IDK about the whole McNabb over rated thing. SO that means that EVERY SINGLE Eagles quarterback is shitty because over rated McNabb hold almost if not all of the quarterback records for the Eagles, I could be wrong though IDK.
As far as Westbrook the ONLY reason why he is not on any team is because the 2 or 3 consussions that he had last season. A RB with concussions problems won't last too long in the NFL.
But I noticed you did not comment on how Philly likes to use up their athletes. Build them up when things are going good and then knock them down and throw them away when things are not so good.
As for Iverson he obviously realized that the fans do not give a shit about him because he could not get it done. Eventhough they love him during the regular season and then turn on him in the playoffs. And I am sure their are other factors that contributed to him leaving Philly the way he did.
It is a shame with the whole Westbrook thing because he is a tremendous football play and an even better prson.
