Personally I like nights because its still warm out, but has a nice breeze, perfect for relaxing in the pool, or just in a comfy chair.
But during the day is when I do all my sports activities so it's a close second.

umm i definitly like the day more for 1 reason more babes in bikini's and alot more stuff to do like goin to the beach and having a beach party. but their is a down to summer days is because it gets so damn hot out its like u almost have to stay in..
i like the night because its cool with breeze and can have bonfires ect. get drunk and hang with freinds.

I perfer summer nights simply because that is when it is easier to find females to hook up with... especially down here at the JERSEY SHORE!! I am from the Belmar area and during the summer time it looks like New York city in terms of all the traffic. But the hotties come out at night after tanning on the beach all day and that is when the hunt begins. From May til September is hunting season at the Jersey Shore.

You guys have no idea!! That bullshit show on MTV does our state no justice lol.
