Never come on here anymore
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I went to see grown ups the other day. The movie was not what i expected.

Main Characters:

  • Adam Sandler...Lenny Feder
  • Kevin James...Eric Lamonsoff
  • Chris Rock...Kurt McKenzie
  • David Spade...Marcus Higgins
  • Rob Schneider...Rob Hilliard

---------
Many Spoilers be Warned.

---------

Plot:

So these 5 guys mentioned above are shown as kids in the beginning of the movie. They are in a basketball tournament for there Coach Buzzer( Thats what they call him throughout the whole movie). They win the game and that was the only team that ever one for Buzzer. After the game they go to a game winning celebration and the coach tells them to live their lives to the fullest so when "Lifes Final Buzzer Rings You Won't Have Any Regrets." Then the movie skips to 30 years into the future or show in the movie as present day. They are all grown up and only Lenny(Adam) is the successful one ( this plays a role in the middle of the movie). So the 5 team mates all receive a phone call that tells them that Coach Buzzer has died. They all go to his funeral and they finally see each other after 30 years. They still make fun of each other and crack jokes at a funeral. Then Lenny(Adam) brings everyone to this cabin near a lake where they used to go when they were kids. Now their whole families are there and they deal to live with each other. Lenny's spoiled kids turn into normal kids after the whole experience. All of the marriages become stronger because they promise each other to always be honest.

-----------

My Opinions:

Pretty mediocre movie. I love comedies and this movie was just really cheesy puns and nothing else. I give it a 6/10.

I couldn't agree with you more for having all these great Comedians the movie felt a little bland to me I guess I had greater expectations I mean look at the cast. On the other hand I also recently saw "Death at a funeral" the new remake and it was hilarious James Marsden stole the movie.

If you can get your hands on some mary jane. Do this before the show and it will be 1000 times greater.

i agree great actors, not enough acting, they all just seemed happy, not enough comedy, more needed

All Adam Sandler movies always turn into a cheesy plot line after all the good jokes are done.

Anyone see Funny People, the last 45 minutes of that movie put me to sleep but everything before then was extremely funny.

One review I read said "if you think watching kevin james fall off a rope is funny, then you'll love this movie"
