We've had discussions in the shoutbox about lucid dreaming, and what it is, so here's a thread to instruct you in inducing it and what it is!

Whilst you are lucid, in the transition between awake and dreaming, you will most likely encounter sleep paralysis, this is scary. If you feel uncomfortable have a trusted friend with you telling them to awake you in an hour.

As for how to induce it:

Would you be tired in the morning after lucid dreaming?

Ive done this before and it was not a pretty experience. Just the fact that I cannot move freaks me out every time.

I tried it last night; sleep paralysis is some freaky stuff. It's really weird not being able to move no matter how hard you will yourself to.

Happened to me naturally a few times. It happens when you eat late night [for me it's usually oily stuff that causes this] and then you wake up. Usually I see nothing out of the ordinary (it's just my room) but then I start feeling weird or some sorta fear for some reason. But I was still able to wiggle my finger a bit and eventually I got all control. (Also, you always have control over your breathing, cause if you didn't you'd die every time you fell asleep)

I tried it last night and I think it worked. Didn't work the first time, so I stayed up for like two hours and tried it again. I remember two dreams, one really nice and the other one was just too weird. ( Don't want to go into details) Winky Winky Like they say, you only dream about what you know.
