This Took Over 1.5 Hours To Make This Since Firefox Decided To Crash As I Was Almost Finished Making This Thread!!!! But I Decided To Retype and Format All Of This Since This Petition Is Needed! Please Make Sure To Support This Petition, There is No Reason Not To Unless You Like Throwing Away Money!!!

Read about what Activision is doing You must login or register to view this content..

Activision may not see/care about this petition, BUT it is important to see everyone's support against this idea and also a promise, meaning your not going to pay extra for Activision's online multiplayer even if it does happen.

With Activision wanting to charge extra just to play their games online, Ubisoft and EA Games are watching closely. This means if Activision is a success with this, you may see it happen to many of your other favorite games.

Even if Activision does go through with this plan, this petition is to be looked back on. Remember what you signed, and how you won't support this act! There are other great games to play out there! And the more people who don't make payments to Activision for their multiplayer, the less likely Activision will keep this for the multiplayer games. Also, other companies would see this fail by Activision and not get any ideas!

What To Post: Please Sign your Name and Comment in your Post!

This Is What You Will Be Paying For If There Will Be Additional Charges to Play Online:
1) Internet
2) The Game
3) Xbox Live (If You Have a 360)
4) Payments (yes more than 1) to Activision for Playing Their Game Online

Don't forget, you had to also buy a console to play the game, a TV to see the game, and are paying for the electric to supply power to the game! Look at how much money is out of your pocket already!

Here Are Some Popular Games That You May Have To Start Making Additional Payments Just To Play Online To Activision:

Just let them do it, the petition wont make a difference. But when they see that their sales have dropped by a high percentage THEN they'll understand what we want.

No. On here you will get at max 258,611, and that is the very maximum as of time of this post. Now think of it like this. MW2 sold about 8 million plus copies, maybe even higher. Activision won't care what 258,611 players will be doing. That still leaves them with over 7 million other players at least. Out of those 7 million (and probably many, many millions more) my guess is that about 60-80% of them WILL pay for it. Petitions won't and never will do shit. The only way for them to realise is by literally NO ONE to buy their games, but that will never happen. People bum off CoD too much for it to happen. Take a look at WoW. That has more members than Xbox Live and PSN, yet that is a subscription game and tens of millions play it.

This is really to make sure this gets brought to many different peoples attention. The details aren't specific yet, nor do we know if it will effect all consoles. But this is to get it noted, I just made it a petition so people would sign their name and also remember that if this does happen, that they will not pay for it. Also, I highly doubt 60-80% of people are going to pay for it, but no one can make any assumptions until this actually happens.

The reason those games are subscription is because they are for the computer. Not only are they cheaper, but they are constantly being updated and its kind of like paying for LIVE. There are several reasons its like that, which is understandable. But doing this for a console is wrong, plus any DLC that comes out, we are still going to have to pay for. Computer players rarely even have to pay for that!

Also, you got to realize, many people have sold back MW2 and many don't play online. Also, 258,611 people on here are not all going to sign this or see this, BUT the more people who do see this, and the more people who sign the better. It all always starts with 1 person, but without that 1 person, there would be one. At least this is showing how greedy Activision is and helping get the news around. This is just 1 step further, more of a promise as well, than just a petition.

But those are just the members of NGU, if this petition does become successful it will start floating around the internet picking up hundreds of thousands of more people.

One person will share it with a friend, that friend shares it with another forum, people on that forum share it with their friends...rinse and repeat.

Eventually a high percentage of people who play MW2 will be aware of the stand gamers are taking against Activision.

Exactly! No matter how far it even goes (presumably the further the better), then at least this has been brought to some peoples attention. Thanks!
