Kingda Ka is a roller coaster which is located at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, USA. It is know to be the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, claiming the titles from Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point when it opened on May 21, 2005. The train is launched by a hydraulic launch mechanism to 128 miles per hour (206 km/h) in 3.5 seconds. At the end of the launch track, the train travels to the main top tower, reaching a height of 456 feet (139 meters).

Goliath is a steel roller coaster made by Giovanola of Switzerland. The hypercoaster is located in the Colossus County Fair area of Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. It is considered to be Six Flags Magic Mountain's signature coaster.
During a brief period from its opening on February 11 to May 13, 2000, Goliath's 255-foot (78 m) opening drop was recognized as the longest and fastest (85 mph) on a closed-circuit roller coaster in the world. Millennium Force at Cedar Point eclipsed these records when it opened on May 13, 2000 with a drop of 300 feet (91 m) and speeds of 93 mph (150 km/h).

Superman Escape is an Intamin AG Accelerator Coaster at Warner Bros. Movie World in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The ride opened on Boxing Day, 26 December 2005. It is the third major roller coaster in the theme park. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in two seconds. Goliath’s neighbor at Six Flags Magic Mountain may not hold as many records, but with a drop of 328 feet and speed of 100 mph, it’s a superhero in the world of roller coasters.

Son of Beast is a record breaking wooden roller coaster located at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, United States, outside of Cincinnati. Son of Beast is billed as the sequel to The Beast. At the time of its introduction in 2000, Son of Beast was the only wooden roller coaster in the top 10 categories (worldwide) that are typically dominated by steel-based coasters for track length, height, speed, and drop. It was also the only wooden roller coaster to feature a vertical loop, which was removed in 2006 after an incident in which 27 people were injured. The loop was not directly related to the incident, but was removed to allow for lighter trains, thus reducing the chances of the 2006 incident's re-occurrence

El Toro, meaning The Bull in Spanish, is a wooden roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure. It opened to the public on June 11, 2006. It was designed by Intamin AG of Switzerland. It had the steepest drop of any wooden roller coaster in the world, at 76 degrees, until this record was broken by T Express in 2008. It is the third tallest (188 ft; 57 m) and third fastest (70 mph; 113 km/h) wooden roller coaster in the world. It is also the first wooden roller coaster to use a cable lift hill instead of the traditional chain lift. Because of the extreme negative g-forces (airtime) on the ride, the lap-bar restraints are very tight, causing some problems for older and larger riders.
El Toro is the main attraction of a new Mexican-themed section, Plaza Del Carnaval. Some of the ride's track is located in Rolling Thunder's infield. It is the steepest lifted (as opposed to launched) roller coaster in the park.

The Voyage is a hybrid wooden roller coaster which opened in May 2006 at Holiday World, an amusement park located in Santa Claus, Indiana, USA. A wooden hybrid consists of a steel structure with wood track. The Voyage has a lift hill of 163 feet, followed by drops of 154 feet, 107 feet and 100 feet. It travels underground through tunnels five times. It is the second-longest operating wooden coaster in the world at 6,442 feet (only The Beast at Kings Island is longer) and third fastest at 67.4 mph. In addition, The Voyage has the most air time of any wooden roller coaster in the world with 24.2 seconds and features three 90-degree banked turns and a first drop that is a steep 66 degrees. The Voyage is also the sixth-tallest wooden roller coaster. In 2006, The Voyage won the Golden Ticket Award from Amusement Today magazine as the Best New Ride. In 2007, The Voyage was awarded the Golden Ticket Award for Best Wooden Coaster. In fact, it captured more vote points than any other wooden or steel roller coaster ever. It retained the title for 2008 and 2009. For 2009, it received more votes than the top steel coaster at 1250 votes.

Mean Streak is a wooden roller coaster located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, United States. It is a wooden roller coaster and was the tallest and fastest one of its kind when it debuted in 1991. It was constructed using 1.7 million board feet (4,000 m³) of treated Southern Yellow pine, and if stacked one in front of the other could span the US from Washington DC to Sacramento just over three times. Although Cedar Point holds the record for the most roller coasters at one park (17), Mean Streak is one of two wooden roller coasters there; the other being the Blue Streak. The track is re-tracked almost every year and has its own carpentry staff.
With a duration time 2 minutes and 45 seconds, the Mean Streak is the longest ride of any roller coaster in the park.

The Boss is a wooden roller coaster at Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, Missouri. Ranked among the top 5 wooden coasters in America, it features a lift of 122 feet, a first drop of 150 feet, four drops of 150',112',103',and 72', and a 570 degree helix. The Boss is a very rough, physically demanding ride and people with back and heart problems should reconsider before riding it.[citation needed]
It was opened in 2000 and entered many roller coaster top ten lists. It is acclaimed for its "terrain twister" style, dipping up and down with the terrain beneath it.

Stealth is a steel roller coaster built by Intamin AG of Switzerland. The coaster is located in the Amity Cove area of Thorpe Park in Surrey, England and opened in 2006. The ride reaches a maximum height of 62.5 m (206 ft), which makes it the tallest roller coaster in Europe. The ride reaches speeds of around 130 km/h (80 mph) in 1.83 seconds. Jubilee Odyssey is a roller coaster at Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells, England. Built by Vekoma of the Netherlands, it's the largest SLC (Suspended Looping Coaster) in the world. Built in 2002, it was named to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Original plans for the ride showed a SLC coaster 265' (81m) in height, which would have made it the tallest Inverted Coaster in the world and seventh tallest overall. The plans were scrapped due to complaints from local residents, limiting the height to a maximum of 180' (54.60m) . As it is, standing at 167' (51m), it is the third tallest coaster in the UK, after the Pepsi Max Big One (213' and Stealth (205' . It was also ranked 209th in Mitch Hawker's Roller Coaster poll in 2007 and 177th in 2008.

Rita (formerly known as Rita: Queen of Speed) is an Intamin AG accelerator coaster located in the Dark Forest area of Alton Towers in Staffordshire, England. It accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately 2.2 seconds (previously 2.5 seconds). The ride is loosely based on drag racing. It is similar to Stealth at Thorpe Park which opened in 2006, though this partly changed with the retheming of Ug Land into the Dark Forest for 2010. Riders must be over 1.4 m (55 in) tall to experience this ride.

Speed is a roller coaster at Oakwood Theme Park, Pembrokeshire, UK. It is a Gerstlauer Eurofighter and contains a 90° chain lift hill and a 97° first drop. The ride uses four trains, each consisting of two rows, each with four across seating and can carry eight people per train. The trains use standard Eurofighter over-the-shoulder restraints. The ride begins with a 115 foot vertical 90° chain lift hill, this is followed by a 110 foot beyond vertical 97° first drop. Cars then reach a speed of 59 miles per hour at the base of this drop, pulling 4.5 G, cars then crest over an airtime hill, pulling -1.3 G. This is followed by an overbanked turn at an angle of 110° and a vertical loop, cars then rise up into a set of brakes. Cars then descend a small dip, into a zero-G-roll and the ride ends with a double helix into the final brake run, cars then return to the station. The ride is painted orange and green and it's lift hill and first drop tower can be seen from a distance away. It is the tallest, fastest and steepest roller coaster in Wales.

Millennium Force is a steel roller coaster built by Intamin AG located at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, United States. Kumali, installed 2006, is a Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster (SLC), located in Flamingo Land Resort in North Yorkshire, England. The ride is a custom layout with some new elements for Vekoma SLCs, including the cobra roll, which Flamingo Land wished to be out over a lake. It is named after one of the zoo's lions. In 2008 Flamingo Land added video recorders to each car so riders can purchase their own video of them on the ride as well as the on-ride photo. The themed Kumali ride music was written and produced by ElectricStreetPolice, a British TV composer by the name of Paul Bickerdike. Kumali is currently only one of three operating Vekoma SLCs in the UK. The Jubilee Odyssey at Fantasy Island UK in Ingoldmells, Skegness, is the largest, and the other, Infusion at Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, is the smallest.

Shockwave is an Intamin stand-up roller coaster at Drayton Manor Theme Park. It was opened in 1994 and is the only stand-up coaster in Europe. It's also the only stand-up roller coaster with a zero-g roll ever made. The ride(Designed by Werner Stengel) was created as part of a two year £4m project in 1993-94 to build Splash Canyon as well.[citation needed] The ride's station is located directly above Splash Canyon's station area. The ride, which reaches 53mph (85 km/h) and delivers up to 4 g, features a lift hill up to 120 ft (37 m), then down a 80 ft (24 m) drop into a loop followed by a zero-gravity roll and then finishes with two corkscrews and a bend around back to the station. Originally the track was white with brown supports, but in 2004 it was repainted to have a light blue track and turquoise supports. Shockwave is located in the 'Action Park' area next to G Force. In 1994, the ride opened alongside two other roller coasters in the UK, the Pepsi Max Big One at Pleasure Beach Blackpool and Nemesis at Alton Towers, which opened one week before Shockwave. In 1994 after the completion of the ride, neighbours complained that the final bend was too close to the edge of the property.[citation needed] In fact it had been built as planned but local Councillors had not noticed the proximity to the boundary on the plans

The Incredible Hulk is a steel roller coaster located in Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, USA. It is named for the popular comic book superhero character, the Hulk. Voted the #1 roller coaster by Discovery Channel viewers in 1999, [1] the roller coaster is unique because it features a launch lift hill as opposed to conventional chain lifts. This means the train accelerates to 40 mph (64 km/h) in a short time (approximately two seconds) before speeding through several inversions. When the Incredible Hulk opened, it featured the world's tallest cobra roll (110 feet (34 m)).

Nemesis is Europe's first inverted roller coaster located at Alton Towers, England. The ride's concept was created by John Wardley, designed by Werner Stengel, manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard and opened in 1994. SAW - The Ride (also written as Saw: The Ride or simply Saw) is a custom Euro-Fighter roller coaster in Thorpe Park, a UK theme park. It is themed around the Saw horror film franchise. The codename 'Project Dylan' was used during construction to keep the movie tie-in secret, until the full details were anounced on Friday 13 October 2008. The name 'ylan' in fact came from the project director's cat, with no actual relevance to the ride. Competition winners and annual pass holders were allowed to attend a preview event, before it opened to the public on Saturday 14 March 2009 a day later. Saw - Alive, a live action horror maze, was opened at the park in 2010 as a spin off to Saw - The Ride.

Griffon is a roller coaster, announced on August 23, 2006, at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, located in Williamsburg, Virginia. The coaster, a Bolliger & Mabillard diving machine, now reigns as tallest and fastest dive machine coaster, surpassing its sister, SheiKra, at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida. Griffon originally had two other potential names — "IronEagle" and "Voltare" — before Busch Gardens decided on the name "Griffon". Griffon has notably replaced The LeMans Raceway, one of the park's original rides. Griffon is the fourth diving machine coaster ever created worldwide, and the second ever constructed in the United States.
Griffon is themed after a griffin, the half-lion/half-eagle mythological creature, and not a griffon, which is a breed of dog. It is believed that the spelling used is the French version of the word. The ride features several new shops located in a new inlet area located behind the former Left Bank Portrait shop (now Griffon Gifts), near the Grande Gourmet ice cream and dessert shop. The ride maneuvers through this new section, including a water splash zone near the new "Bistro 205," a new all-you-can-eat buffet, and a first drop that dives under a bridge that is built up over the existing ground level.

If the Expedition Everest mountain were real, it would be ranked fourth on the list of the highest summits in Florida at 320 feet (98 m) above sea level. Although moderate in height and length by contemporary roller coaster standards, Expedition Everest is unique for having its trains travel forward and backward as a result of the yeti's interference with the journey. This is accomplished through two sets of rotating track segments on pivot before and after the backwards segment. In its publicity material, Disney pointedly has described the attraction as a family thrill ride. This was the first Disney roller coaster to have a backwards section on it, but it was the second Disney roller coaster proposed with a backwards section: The planned runaway mine train roller coaster at the Magic Kingdom's never built Western River Expedition would have had a backwards section before it was shelved in 1972. The plans for the mine train roller coaster eventually evolved into Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It would be another 34 years until a roller coaster with a backwards segment opened in a Disney park.

you missed out the hulk, and oblivion is absolute shit, you just go down that tunnel, and it lasts for about 5 secs then your back at the start
