If it's on the floor and the nest is not around, another bird probably snatched it and a few others and probably dropped it there and it will die, if the nest is nearby, the momma bird will find it eventually, if a cat doesn't get it soon...

Yea I think the nest was really close. The mother was dlying around near it ALOT. But my dog kept barking so It was scared. IDK
