In my opinion a dog is better because they actually helped us people in a way unlike cats who just play and meow, if you disagree with me go ahead :p

For example:
-Some dogs are trained to know when a person is going to have a seizure or if a diabetic is going to have a 'reaction' even before their owner knows it.
-For the disabled some dogs are trained to fetch things; pick up things that their owner has dropped; open doors, trained to stay right next to the wheel chair when the person may go for a spin during the day.
-Some dogs are trained to sniff out drugs, weapons at airports, etc.
-Dogs are trained in the Police Force.
-Dogs herd cattle and sheep
-Dogs will protect your family and your children.

Now doesn't this make cats look insegificent :p

I have a cat. This is her life:

Cats are 10x better than dogs

Why? They do what they want, whenever they want. They are smart enough not to obey orders like dogs, so they arent cooped up and trained. There is nothing better than holding or petting a purring cat. The only training you have to give a cat is show it tons of attention as a kitten, with dogs, you need training classes, etc. You can leave a cat alone for more than 2 weeks and it will be fine, they are independent. With a dog, it would go insane. Cats kill rodents around your house, so you dont have to hire an exterminator. My neighbors all have rat problems, we dont. I wonder why..meanwhile, my dog just barks at the rodents and doesnt do shit. My dog eats my cats poop, which shows how dominate cat's are

I feel whichever you choose is the type of person you are. If your a dog, you are dependent on other people and things. As a cat, you are more independent and dont give a ****

untrained dogs can be the stupidest sometimes, stupider than cats. dogs are the most fun but i have the best time playing with my cousins cat. they go apeship over a laser pointer and get so wasted over catnip.

also i would rather have a cat than a tiny dogs. those little shits are annoying. big/medium size dogs>small dogs

I like both in there ways but dogs more because i have like 4 and had one cat but she was mad :p but yer dogs have my vote !

LOL My neighbor has a fat kitty and it looks just like her xD, it probably does the same....

i have 8 dogs so im bound to say dogs... But chihuahuas are damn cute! =D we have 5 of them (2 puppies ^^)

I prefer cats They're soft, cute, and you don't need to walk them, and they make good lolcats
