In my opinion a dog is better because they actually helped us people in a way unlike cats who just play and meow, if you disagree with me go ahead :p

For example:
-Some dogs are trained to know when a person is going to have a seizure or if a diabetic is going to have a 'reaction' even before their owner knows it.
-For the disabled some dogs are trained to fetch things; pick up things that their owner has dropped; open doors, trained to stay right next to the wheel chair when the person may go for a spin during the day.
-Some dogs are trained to sniff out drugs, weapons at airports, etc.
-Dogs are trained in the Police Force.
-Dogs herd cattle and sheep
-Dogs will protect your family and your children.

Now doesn't this make cats look insegificent :p

I had more but they got old..... But one of myne is has so much freaking muscle its not funny and he runs fast as hell

cats - they don't really annoy me as much as dogs do

dogs - they do the randomist shit i've seen(talking about my sisters dogs)

my favourite animal right now is my cat because he is like a dog, he follows me everywhere, is very playful, and well awesome but when my dog was alive he was for sure my favourite... R.I.P. korn, love you buddy

it was a guy, but yeah man, i loved him to bits, he was so caring, anytime i was sad he would nudge me and rest with me, and he was so plafyul and made me laugh all the time with his silly bark hah, plus i had him since i was like 4 and taught him some tricks

sad to hear about your dog buddy, it is sad to see them go, but time heals things

Yeah, mine was a pain in the ass, crazy ass dog, got a fish hook in her tongue once lol she was really a handful but whenever you got hurt she'd sit next to you, lick your leg and rest her head on your thigh but she had heartworms and no one knew and in her last few days she wouldn't move much, we'd try taking her out but she was so weak she couldn't jump into the car anymore, we took her to the vet and put her down, just thinking about it makes me wanna cry actually :cry:

wow dude that is so sad, my dog had to be put down because his medicine was late arriving (thanks post office!), so since he did not have his medicine, he had no help with his joints and such, so when he was trying to walk down the stairs, he fell and broke his hip, etc. so we had to put him down because he could not walk and would not be able to walk ever again, maybe we could have tried some surgery, but it would have been horrible for him, and he might have died while it was happening, and it was a rare chance he would ever be able to walk again after it, so we decided it was best for everyone to put him down, but we lied with him for hours and took videos of him barking and having fun and knowing we loved him so much, right before he was put down, so he has those as his last memory, and so do we...alright dude im crying now lol

I'm fighting tears man seriously. In the days leading up to putting her down we spent lots of time with her but we didn't know we'd put her down cuz we didn't know what was wrong, I only had minutes with her before the vets did. Anyway, that's enough of digging around in the past, it's like tearing the scab off a wound. We put her down for a reason cuz we didn't want her to suffer so she's in a better place. Gotta be happy
