WASHINGTON — Some residents in Frederick County were shaken by a minor earthquake this morning.

The quake hit at 5:04 a.m. and had a magnitude of 3.6. Residents in Urbana , Jefferson , Brunswick , downtown Frederick and other areas of the city reported feeling the quake, which was centered in Rockville, according to Randy Baldwin, a physicist with U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center.

I wish I was awake to experience, that's pretty scary.
