Depending on which airsoft gun you get, they hurt WAY more than paintballing.

My friend has a metal M4, 330fps (feet per second) it is an electric one and one bullet goes through 5 half empty aluminium cans.

Gas versions of the guns are more powerful and therefore, hurt more. Paintball guns do hurt when they first hit you, I went at centre parks and got owned lol, bruises all over me :s

In my opinion paintballing hurts more, but that's just because I have never been to airsoft so have no experience of it.

Airsoft all the way
Paintball is a mess
expensive and doesnt hurt

Airsoft is cheaper
hurts like hell
and there is so many diff guns

That is true but paintball also has many realistic looking guns and a wide selection of guns.
