(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ESPN reports that the Bengals are once again talking to T.O. trying to close a deal by the end of the week.

What this means for Bengals fans?

Well it means that is Carson Palmer continues to suck with (3) of the better receivers in the league then he can no longer blame it on anyone but himself.

If we get T.O. I may be one of the first fans sporting his new jersey. If done right the Bengals will have one of the best offenses in the league. And, if you guys remember last year before all the injuries we had one of the better defenses in the league aswell.

So, Ohio may now mock the Miami Heat tri-fecta with their own... Ochocinco, T.O. and Antonio Bryant.

I think I've forgotten about Lebron James already

In all honesty, I've watched a couple episodes of the T.O. show. I'm sure they put their own spins on it since it is "Reality TV." But, I think he understands he's got to start doing something because this is most likely one of his last stops. If he screws this up, he may not get any offers next year.

If he does good, he has a job for a few more years. He's spent 3 weeks with Carson Palmer and Palmer loves him...

I think it will be a big year for the bengals.. the only thing we're riding on now is Palmer. Last year it really seemed like he'd never played football before. A lot of his passes were questionable. Sometimes I even thought that he may be blind...

Time will tell...

August 8th baby!

Where did I say he wasn't a good QB? I said he isn't a great QB. There are only 3 great QBs in the NFL Manning, Brady, and Brees.

I also didn't say Ben didn't rape the girl as you can tell by the way I ended my post. My point was you can't say one did and the other didn't with the evidence that was put out there without being biased for one and not the other.

Aight, Im a die hard bengals fan for life. Im gonna agree with justin, if Carson can get his act together and be a good qb, and T.O and Cedric can stay out of trouble, and chad is chad then we have the potential to be one of the feared offenses in the league. You look at bensons numbers and he carried the bengals for most of their games. If he didnt get hurt and he played all the games he had the potential of the top 5 best running backs in the league. WHO DEY WHO DEY!

That is a lot that has got to happen for the Bengals to be feared and an overall great team. Carson hasn't been the same QB since getting his knee blown out in that playoff game against the Steelers a few years back. Both T.O and Chad are another year older, T.O was missing a step last year and isn't sure handed at all. Then you have to count on Benson having the kind of year that he had last year, which will be hard for a guy who has been far from consistent in his career. The biggest of them all is will their defense repeat last years performance. That's a lot needed, but if a few of them can go the Bengals way then they have a chance to be an elite team in the AFC. I do see them getting into the playoffs, but I think it will be tough for them to pass the Ravens for the division.

so aaron rodgers isn't great? what was it the 30 touchdowns he threw that took away from him being great. Or the fact he only threw 7 interceptions? or his 103.9 passer rating.

and bens not a great qb? 100 passer rating (better than tom AND peyton) 26 tds... only `12 interceptions...

o but philip rivers isnt great nooooooo.... lol u will NEVER see another qb in this era that throws the ball as accurate as rivers.

Bottom line.... there are many great qbs... dont just pick them by who espn says is great.... watch them and see how they play... personally i really dont think tom brady would be considered a great qb if he was not on belichecks team... look at matt cassel... and i consider peyton manning the greatest qb ever... too bad he crumbles under pressure.

Ok first give me a chance to laugh. Ok. Done.

A guy doesn't become great after one season, after those three I named - Aaron Rodgers would be right there. Also, what has he won? Rivers is also knocking on the doorstep of being great.
Oh and Drew Brees and stats might have something to say on your accuracy comment.

I honestly probably shouldn't have even responded to you after you mentioned that you don't think Tom Brady should be considered great. Find me another QB that can win a Super Bowls with receivers like Troy Brown and Deon Branch.

Oh, yeah 26 TD 12 INT sounds good if he did that every year, how does 17 TD 15 INT sound, or 18 TD and 23 INT?

Don't even tell me that I just pick the ones ESPN says are great and that I should watch them play. I probably watch far more football then you.

If you saw bensons 1st year with the bengals dating back to 2007-2008, you would see he has pretty good numbers in the shortage of games he played. When he did play last year he was consistent, benson is on the verge of being an elite back in the talks of adrian peterson. And that t.o and chad old crap?, Thats not gonna work. T.O. was in a bad position in Buffalo with a crappy qb and no other elite wr to take the cover off him. With chad, bryant, and caldwell, defenses have to focus on alltartgets not just t.o. Chad is still good he hasnt lost anything, Carson just needs to click like he use to and we'll be in the super bowl. And nothings changed on the defense. Same coordinator, same style and players.
